Perception is reality?
From AAAA That’s Five As, the following statement caught my attention: “Perception is reality.” This is extremely common and is just absolute drivel. I first year philosophy student should be able to decimate this canard, so why do supposedly intelligent people use it? I think it’s appealingly geared toward business-style nihilism with a marketing bent, or something. You...

Pregamin' and Presentin'
Great article on how to give great presentations. My favorite part is the section titled “PubCon: Grade A Speaking With a Hangover.” I have reproduced it below: Lay out your speaking attire the night before going out to a fun PubCon bash. Put your PowerPoint on a USB stick and put it in the pants pocket. Make sure you have cab fare and directions prepared if you are staying away...

2, 4, 6, 8, with whom will you collaborate? →
from Your Daily Awesome, this video, named “50 50,” is made from video clips of 50 people rapping 50 Cent songs on YouTube. While these people didn’t intentionally collaborate, this makes me think that organizing something like this would be neat. Can’t wait to see how Google’s Gmail video ends up.

Faking it
So, I don’t know how to say this, but… I’ve sorta been feeling like I should be a woman. You know, I really just can’t deal with the male genitalia, football games, and Puddle of Mudd head-thrashing tunes anymore. I’m more interested in finding a job at a flower shop, burning mix-CDs featuring Cindy Lauper and Boy George, and using lots of tanning oil at the beach. ...

2 : 1 :: current : ex
There are about 100 million bloggers right now, a time in the internet’s history widely considered to be the crux of the blogging revolution. However, at this time of great numbers, almost twice as many people (200 million) are ex-bloggers. To my blogging friends: don’t quit! Don’t become another tally mark for the “ex” category.

Pick your president (the really easy way!)
Like many people, I’m having trouble deciding on a candidate (of the nearly twenty) to support for the ‘08 elections. Maybe these two pages will help you and me. Pandora's (thinking) out of the box
Pandora, my favorite online music service, rocks. In addition to having all the vocal musical artists ever imaginable, they also have all-instrumental stations. They’re really useful for studying, falling asleep, or just a laid-back party setting. Clicking on the link will open up that Pandora station in your Pandora account. I'd like a taco with guacmole and Corona, please.
Chipotle has it right again. Shifting to healthily -rown food, providing the freshest ingredients possible, and officially saying that they’ll make anything, Chipotle has won my heart and stomach for years to come. Chipotle will, like Taco Bell, make anything they have the ingredients for. Unlike Taco Bell, this is an official policy. Some suggestions: Nachos, Quesadilla, Individual Tacos,...
